What’s Included?
Winter (Ice House) rentals always include the following in all of our shacks, some have many more features please see each unit for specifics.
- All safety features: smoke detector/alarm, CO detector/alarm, LP detector/alarm, fire extinguisher, safety instructions
- Ice House is placed on Big Yellow Lake in a likely fish spot following normal patterns for fish in the time of the season.
- Heated, holes drilled, and ready for your arrival
- LP gas for your stay supplied
- Stove cooktop and basic pots, pans, and silverware
- Dining table and seating
- Bunks/Beds have mattresses or other cushions, bring your sleeping bag and pillow!
- Dry toilet facility (ranges from bag-bucket type to deluxe commode depending on unit)
- Coffee pot and 2 gallons of drinking water
- Flat Screen TV
What’s Optional?
- Augers: Modern, all-electric Ice Auger and Charger ($30/day)
- Portables: sled-based Ice Shack to venture out to different parts of the lake ($40/day)
- Fishing Kit: Fishing Rods and Reels, Tip-Ups, Basic Tackle ($20/day)
- Sonar: Vexilar or equivalent fish finder ($20/day)
- Underwater Camera ($20/day)
- Generator: Modern, quiet generator matched to the size of your Ice House and gasoline ($35/day)
